See the land, remeber the people
In the galleries I’ve collected images from my time in Afghanistan.
A very few I actually have memories to. Most of them I’ve only been told much later what they are about. All of them give a glance of what Afghanistan once looked like.
Many pictures include people I no longer know who they are. If anyone recognize anyone in the images please contact me. It would add a great value to them.
My parents never took a lot of photographs. They bought postcards instead and added them in our photo album. Since all are over forty years old and depict things probably not existing anymore, I decided not to exclude them but I’ve marked their origin.
